Buen sitio para dormir si vas a coger el ferry a Armadale. Darreen fue muy amable y nos explicó como funcionaba todo. Las camas muy cómodas y las duchas limpias y con productos de higiene. Buen precio y muy buena ubicación al mismo lado del puerto. Hay un supermercado justo a la entrada del lugar por si quieres comprar algo. Cuenta con cocina y sala común.

This place!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, can't thank them enough. The place is immaculate and really fresh and new feeling. Showers are wonderful, with changing spaces. Beds very comfortable. Everything about this place is perfect. Super simple accommodation, but you'd expect that from a hostel! Will definitely be returning.

Our stay there was great. Very nice host and comfortable beds. The location couldn’t be more central. We had access to a nice rooftop area, a fully equipped (and very clean) kitchen and a living room with TV and a lot of DVDs 😊 Upon arrival the host informed us about the trails we could walk and the places where we could get good food.

We were so happy with this hostel- it was brilliant value, central location- just what we needed. It had a very respectful and friendly vibe- quiet but nice common areas for a chat if you wanted. The host was super lovely and even posted me back some earrings I left in the room ❤️ we’ll definitely be back.

És un allotjament simple i correcte, molt correcte pel preu en ple agost. Les habitacions senzilles, potser podrien millorar les amb una mica més de llum i algun penjador de roba. Hi ha taps per les oides a disposició, no tenia molt clar perque, però per la nit se sent les habitacions del costat

Beat my expectations. You cannot beat the value found here! The host was so welcoming and showed a lot of care for us. She had lots of great recommendations and was happy to help. The rooms were not luxury, but exactly as expected and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and fun to cook in. There was a nice hang out and eating space. To enter the résidence the first time, ring the doorbell and wait 1 - 2 minutes. The host will then meet you at the main door on ground level.

I have stayed in the bunkhouse a few times as a little stop over point. Easy to book, friendly staff and great location. The little town of Mallig is friendly and has beautiful ocean views. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. Nice kitchen area wich some free food options available.

We stayed here a total of three nights on either side of a bike trip to Skye. The owner Darina was lovely, very welcoming and full of l ocal tips. The bunkhouse has an almost homely feel.

The mission is basic but very clean and has everything you need ie residents lounge full kitchen even a balcony to eat put on. The couple who run it are really friendly and helpful. Ring direct to get best prices and availability. Ive stayed twice with my wee dog when catching early ferries. Would definitely recommend.

Le lit n'est pas très confortable, après c'est propre . On a bu un petit apéritif sur la terrasse, et on a pu discuter avec le personnel qui était très agréable ! Merci beaucoup

Prime location in Mallaig, ferry terminal and train station are literally right outside the door. For the price I paid for the 2 nights I stayed here, I couldn't imagine anything better. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Showers were hot and spacious.

We stayed at the Mission Bunkhouse for one night on our way through to the Outer Hebrides. We stayed in the twin room which was snug but perfectly comfortable. The bathroom facilities were really clean, the showers were hot and gave better pressure than I have back home! The shared kitchen and living area is a great place to relax at the end of the evening and there are plenty of basic cooking appliances for guests to use. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone passing through Mallaig!

Stayed here for two nights and it was great. Very reasonably priced, nice location, simple. Everything was clean, the area was quiet so was easy to get a good sleep. Would recommend for anyone looking for something simple and affordable.

We’ve stayed at the mission bunkhouse twice now. The rooms are basic but warm and comfortable with everything you need. There’s a great kitchen. Showers are hot and clean. Location perfect, being practically nextdoor to the train station and ferry port. And Darina, who runs the place, is just so friendly and helpful - nothing is ever too much trouble. 5 stars.

Basic but good accommodation- ideal for several days or just an overnight stay. Great for backpackers! Unfortunately stairs at the entrance so not disabled friendly but otherwise good value for money. Communal kitchen well appointed and a lounge for meeting other guests. Central in Mallaig and next to the supermarket. Easy access to the train station across the road. The lady who runs the bunkhouse is full of local knowledge and a great help.

Minutes walk away from the ferry terminal and the train station. Plenty of cafes/restaurants to eat at, as well as Co-op supermarket nearby. Bed was comfortable and room, bathroom and kitchen were clean.

Firstly, this is a hostel. By definition, you’re paying for the basics in accommodation. So if you’re looking for a 5 star all the trimmings boutique b and b, a 24/7 concierge and your towels folded in to swans, then this place is not for you. You’ll need to pay 5 star boutique prices to get that. As a hostel goes, this place is brilliant. Comfy beds, clean rooms and spotless facilities, ample kitchen space and excellent showers. And to cap it all off, excellent customer service by the host / manager, who went above and beyond to be flexible with my check in times due to my train being cancelled to Mallaig. She was also very helpful and informative when I arrived. Ear plugs provided in case of unknowingly noisy neighbours, but thankfully I didn’t need these during my stay. Perfectly located next door to a well stocked co-op food store, the Skye ferry terminal, and the train station. I will definitely Book again when I return in the near future.

Molto gentile la ragazza che gestisce la struttura. Ci ha aspettato anche se siamo arrivati con molto ritardo rispetto all'orario concordato. Le camere sono piccoline ma pulite. Mancano gli asciugamani, per poterne usufruire bisogna pagare una sterlina. La struttura è posizionata vicino al porto e ciò fa sì che, la mattina presto, si sentano tutti i rumori di carico e scarico della merce. Vengono, per questo motivo, forniti in ogni stanza dei tappi per le orecchie. La cucina è ben attrezzata e vi è un bel salottino dove poter mangiare.

Loved our stay at the hostel! Cheap price, clean rooms, modern showers. But what made our stay so great was the lovely owner, who was so patient and friendly and helped us so much with special requests. Thank you!!! :) :) :) We'll come back!
